Fさん。手短でいいので、現在のラホールの状況をお知らせください。昨日ニュースを見ていたのですが、カラチやサッカルで大規模なデモが発生したと聞きました。

パキスタンは今までになく危険な局面に差し掛かっていると思われます。ラホールは依然平静と信じておりますが、返信待ってます。

is still good , but I am not sure , upto what extent , it will remain good,
because demonstration is gradually increasing as Americans are continueing
killing innocent people . I believe that if this situation continues for some
long time , that may effect the whole region as well may be whole world ,
because last day 200 peoply were killed in Nigeria in muslim-cristian clash.
Anyway , lets hope for the best ( which seems to be difficult at the moment ) ,
but may be in future situation will be better when America will be satisfied
after killing all afghani innocent people and whole world will aprreciate that
they have killed one so-called terrorist at the cost of thousands innocent
childeren , women ,
, if America suspect Osama to be terrorist , then why he doesn't land their army
tigers on their grounds and arrest or kill Osama, instead of killing all the
people , ( this is very common question , which is being asked now frequently ,
and I think you may ask this question from Bush )

和訳したら間抜けになるような気がしたので、そのまま載せた(許可済み)。最近は絶望色が濃厚で、この日のFさんは夕方に体調を崩し、早退してしまった(大丈夫かよ)。

Fさん以外からも、チーム内のドラフトマン(図面描く人)などからメールを貰った。それによると、あの平和だったラホールが、現在では8割ほどの店がシャッターを下ろしているとのことである。現状はまだ平穏だが、緊張感が増しており、こちらとしてもこの件に関しては緊張がまるで解けない状況である。

タリバンは穏健派が亡命し、内部分裂が鮮明になった。国内でもそれほどタリバンは支持されている訳では無いが、現在の北部同盟を構成する軍閥が群雄割拠し、少女とか少年をレイプするなど暴虐の限りを尽くしていた頃よりはマシと思われているらしい。とにかく、タリバンが本当に消滅するのかはわからないが、その後もアフガンの苦悩は続くと思う。何しろ、国をひっぱる政体はまるで見当たらないからだ。

アフガンがどうなるのかは、私個人には究極的には関係ないことなのだが、何故か目をそむける事が出来ない。一体何故か？
